Loughcrew Caravan and Camping site nr. Oldcastle, Co.Meath 19th-21July 2023

A short cycle touring trip to Loughcrew as weather forecast was for showers with heavy rain later in the week. 70km from Dundalk via Ardee and Kells.Beautiful site and a very enjoyable trip. Overlooking Loughcrew is the Megalithic site and Cairns. www.loughcrewmegalithiccentre.com

Nice cycle trip to Navan, Co.Meath and ruturn by the same route. Heavy traffic. Hilly route with strongish westerly head wind. 107km. Dundalk to Navan

Nice cycle today through Ravensdale and home via the turf road.

Cycling Waterford Greenway- Waterford-Dungarvan-Waterford 30th May to 3June 2023

Nice 5 day cycling trip along the Waterford Greenway. Camping at Clonee, Dungarvan 2days) and Tramore (2days) on way back.Total distance 153km. Glorious weather. Bus and train to Waterford and return by same method.Knee a little sore so hope it clears up. The route is along the former Railway line passing through Kilmeaden and Kilmacthomas.
