Kerry Road Trip 14th-17th September 2022

Nice road trip to County Kerry including the Ring of Kerry. 1,110 Km. While I love touring on the Vstrom it hasnt the same flexibility as Cycle touring.More specifically in relation to photography. i.e. not as easy to pull over on roadways to take photos, while on the bicycle you can stop almost anywhere. Maybe in time I will Adjust to this form of touring/photography.

A  350 km tour through the Wicklow Gap and back over the Sally Gap today. Glorious weather. Unfortunately a lot of driving on the dreaded M50 motorway to get there. But worth it to visit this wonderful area.

No Pain, No Gain

Had to call a halt to my Cycle Touring due to a knee injury. First time ever. very painful.  24Hrs in ED of the Lourdes Hospital getting it chacked out. Thankfully no blod clot just overuse injury. Should be good to go again in a few weeks with maybe less daily kilometers.
