Motorbike Trip 25th-26th April 2022

Weather looked promising for 7days so headed off on VStrom 650. However biting cold easterly winds and overnight low (almost freezing )temperatures made camping uncomfortable. However over 500 kms completed to 2 days. 

Outward: Dundalk, Dublin, Blessington, Rathvilly, Tullow, Bunclody, Enniscorthy, Blackwater and Camping at the Trading Post just outside Wexford

Ruturn: Camping, Motorway to Wicklow, Then through Rathnew, Glenealy, Rathdrum, Aughrim, Aghavannagh, Rathdangan, Kiltegan, Baltinglass, Blessington, Saggart, and Motorway to Dundalk. 

Hope to continue the trip around Ireland when weather improves (gets a little warmer)

Flagstaff, Newry, Co. Down 20th April 2022

 Beautiful day for a spin to Flagstaff which is just North of Dundalk, Co.Louth. Hilly route of 46km. Beautiful sunny day but very windy.

Aghavannagh, Co.Wicklow. 16th Aptil 2022

 A nice 350km trip on the VStrom 600 today. Dundalk, Dublin, Bray, Ashford, Rathnew, Glenealy, Rathrum, Aughrim, Aghavannagh, Blessington, Dublin and home. Heavy traffic along the way due to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Used to travel the mountain route from Wicklow Town to Baltinglass many weekends in the 1970's. Beautiful landscape in the Wicklow Hills. Weather was fine but overcast. Must bring the GoPro camera the next time.
