Comments: A wonderful trip in the Lovely Countries of Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Croatia. Vrsic Pass at over 1,600m was very tough especially on a touring bike. Some other hilly roads in particular road from Ljubliana to Otocec and road into Sarajevo on a friday evenibg with very heavy traffic. Very hot with temperatures 25+ most days. Joined on part of trip from Ljubliana to Sarajevo with my son in law, Tom. Camping most days but used hostels in Vitel, Sarajevo and Konjic.

Weather: Very hot as you would expect in June/July with most days 25+. Some thunderstorms but during night hours.

What a beautiful day 18th January 2018

Couldnt resist cycling to top of Clermont Cairn outside Dundalk, Co. Louth today in wonderful snow covered hills. Had to drag the bike the last 2km through deep snow to the top but it was worth it.
