Planned to do the Annaloughan Loop today. A nice spin of 20km via Lordship and a long climb by Killen to start of loop. Unfortunately when I arrived signs stated no MTB allowed. Very disappointed. I dont understand why as the track is gravel around the loop. Anyway headed home down Jenkinstown Hill and onto the main Carlingford Road. Total distance 36km

On new bike today. Just a basic MTB . If I continue to enjoy this activity will invest in a more expensive one later in the year. 31km today. The MTB tyres make a huge difference with traction on the muddy tracks.
Another MTB ride today. Beautiful cold spring day. 3hours with lots of climbing and a rapid descent. Need to get proper off road tyres as some scary moments on the road tyres which have less grip on the gravely tracks. Also must bring the Go Pro camera next time. 32 km in just over 3hours.
Trying a bit on the MTB today. Damp track made for interesting riding particularly on slick tyres. Very enjoyable in a traffic free environment.More to come in the weeks ahead. 28km in just over 2hours
