January and into February 2026

Storm Chandra brought heavy rain and lots of flooding along the South East and East coast of Ireland. High tides and Easterly winds not helping along with very waterlogged ground from days of heavy rain. Widespread flooding and my home town of Enniscorthy flooded again along the River Slaney. This flooding is a common occurance even going back to my school days in the 1960's.
